Authors'/Speakers' Information

Email sent to corresponding authors on September 9, 2003

Dear ANFM 2003 Author/Speaker,

As our Meeting is approaching, I would like to inform you of some details related to your presentation:

1. You have received this email because you were listed as the "corresponding author" on one or on several ANFM 2003 papers. This email has not been sent to other co-authors, therefore, please share this information with other co-authors. IN PARTICULAR, IF YOU ARE NOT THE PRESENTING CO-AUTHOR, PLEASE FORWARD THIS INFORMATION IMMEDIATELY.

2. At your earliest convenience, please let me know by email (PetrovB@westinghouse.com) who will present the paper. In your email, please specify session, paper title, and speaker's name. If not sure yet, please inform me of alternative speakers at your earliest convenience. If none of the co-authors will be able to attend, please inform me as soon as possible.

3. Plan your presentation for 20 minutes; additionally, there will be 5 minutes available for discussion (questions and answers).

4. To find out when your paper is scheduled, please check the Technical Sessions Program that includes a list of technical sessions and the list of papers to be presented in each session. This is intended to be the final program, but minor adjustments may occur. Also attached is the file EventsSchedule.pdf check the Events Schedule that contains the overall schedule of Meeting events.

5. Please check the conference website for any news/updates (including program changes, if any): http://meetingsandconferences.com/anfm2003 .

6. If you haven't register yet, please do so as soon as possible. Note that the deadline for early registration at reduced rate has been extended to Friday, September 12.

7. Please make your hotel room reservations as soon as possible.

8. There will be an overhead projector and a LCD projector available in each room. If you will use the LCD projector with your laptop, you may want to test connecting your laptop in advance. A backup computer will be provided as well, with a CD reader and USB-1 port. If you intend to bring your presentation on CD or USB memory stick, in Windows Powerpoint, and use the backup laptop, please inform the session chair at the Speakers' Breakfast, and test in advance (during a break) that everything works as intended. However, due to potential difference in software versions, some compatibility issues are possible in this case.

9. Speaker's Ready room will be available.

10. A continental breakfast will be held each morning for session chairs and speakers who are presenting this day. This is an excellent opportunity to meet your session chair and resolve any last minute questions. Please have a short biographical sketch available to provide to the session chair at that time. (Suggested: a few sentences with basic information - current affiliation and title/position, current projects, relevant previous experience.)

I appreciate very much your efforts and contributions to the Meeting, and I look forward to welcoming you to ANFM 2003 soon.

Best regards,

Bojan Petrovic
