The Robert Trent Jones was one of the first courses to be built on the island in 1968. With the 3.5 million dollar renovation completed in September 2002, one of the oldest courses has returned as one of the premier course on Hilton Head Island. The beginning holes wind through the plantation amongst the pine trees, as you approach the turn the course opens and plays like a links course. With back to back par fives (9th and 10th), you have plenty of time to take in the stunning ocean scenery. The green on the signature 10th hole is practically in the sand dunes (a perfect place for pictures) and from there on in you wind your way back through the 11-mile lagoon system. It is a resort course which caters to all levels and in keeping with the Trent Jones tradition, an incredibly fair course to play.
